Coherence in British International Development Policy: where the next Parliament should and could take us

Monday 29 March

The Development Policy Group of the University of Edinburgh’s Public Policy Network (PPN), in collaboration with the Development Politics Group of the PSA UK, is holding a one-day workshop at the Political Studies Association UK conference in Edinburgh. The workshop will be held on Monday 29th March.

Each of the main political parties in the United Kingdom has set out its plans for international development within policy papers. In the run-up to general elections in the UK in 2010, this workshop will explore these policies in light of debates around coherence and emerging challenges of international development in the 21st century.
