Development and climate change: Launch of the World Development Report 2010

At this event, the World Development Report 2010 co-director, Marianne Fay, will launch the report,  discussing three main themes:

  • What does climate change mean for development?
  • What does development mean for climate change?
  • What does this mean for policy?

She will be joined in the presentation by co-author Kirk Hamilton. Prof. Lord Anthony Giddens, Former Director of the London School of Economics, member of the House of Lords and author of the book 'The Politics of Climate Change' will act as discussant. Will Day, Chair of the UK Sustainable Development Commission, will act as chair.
