FP7 Call: Connections between rural areas and cities in sub-Saharan Africa

Activity under the SSH.2011-2 call

The objective of this topic is to enable research on common challenges that are relevant to all sub-Saharan African countries and that could be met more effectively by them collectively rather than individually.

Projects will advance the knowledge base that underpins the formulation and implementation of policies by the EU and its international partners to promote cooperation across borders and foster peace, security, democracy and human rights.

Funding scheme: Collaborative Project (small or medium-scale focused research project targeted to SMEs) for Specific Cooperation Actions dedicated to International Cooperation.

Target regions: targeted ICPC countries from sub-Saharan Africa.

Budget: EUR 5.4 million

Deadline: 2 February 2011
