Health Adviser

DFID Uganda currently has an A2 Health Adviser. With the demands of the increasing investment in health a need has been identified for additional advisory support. The Health Adviser (A2L) will be the technical lead on DFID Uganda’s maternal, child health and malaria programmes.

They will represent DFID in technical working groups of the Ministry of Health and play an active role in health sector policy dialogue to improve quality of maternal and child health services. They will also work closely with the DFID Uganda current health adviser and be
part of a multi-disciplinary team including Advisers, Programme Managers and Programme Officers responsible for delivering DFID Uganda’s results pertaining to health Millennium Development Goals.

This is a staff appointed in country (SAIC) position.
