Call for papers: EADI / DSA Conference

Rethinking Developmentin an Age of Scarcity and Uncertainty:New Values, Voices and Alliances for Increased Resilience
19 - 22 September 2011, York, UK

Papers and panel proposals are invited for the 2011 conference of the European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes, in co-operation with the Development Studies Association of the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The EADI-DSA 2011 conference seeks to maximise the opportunity of working together and to revisit and rethink ‘development’, to generate new ideas, new narratives and new thinking whenever possible globally co-constructed with partners in global-South.

The conference is open to all disciplines and methodological approaches in the Social Sciences and Humanities.  Over 800 delegates will represent development research institutes, international organisations, the European Commission and bilateral donor organisations.

Deadlines:

  • Submission of panel proposals by 15 October 2010
  • Abstract submissions by 15 January 2011
