Research policy and practice
Policies on how to distribute funding for research are continually evolving.UKCDS is looking to improve the way development science funding is administered — ensuring that development is a priority for funders, and that research is funded in a way that maximises its impact on development.
Our current focus includes:
- Ensuring research assessment recognises and rewards research relevant to development
- Helping members share good practice about encouraging the use of research in policy and practice
- Enhancing the process of collaboration between members and other funders.
