Deputy Director

Kate O’Shea is UKCDS Deputy Director.
Kate will be on maternity leave until March 2013.
Kate’s role
Kate works with a range of key funders and stakeholders in the UK’s development sciences research base to facilitate discussions between those interested in research for international development. During 2011-12 her focus will be on what more UK funders and researchers could be doing to strengthen research capacity at the organisational and national level and how efforts could be evaluated and learning shared.
