Angela May is the Personal Assistant to Andrée Carter, Director of UK Collaborative on Development Sciences (UKCDS).

Angela’s role
Angela manages Andrée’s diary and the rest of the Secretariat’s too. She ensures the smooth running of the UKCDS office and its systems.

Angela is also involved in organising events and workshops for UKCDS members and stakeholders including the launch of the UK Agri-Food Science Directory and the Science and Innovation for Development book; the conference Disasters: Improving the evidence base for prevention, resilience and emergency responses and DFID’s ‘Green Growth’ Workshop.

About Angela
Angela joined UKCDS in December 2007 to progress from Administrator to Personal Assistant.  Prior to this she worked as a team administrator for a large environmental consultancy in London, supporting over 50 consultants.
