Sarah Howard

Communications Officer

Sarah Howard is the Communications Officer at UKCDS.

Sarah’s role
Sarah manages the UKCDS website and other forms of communication, promoting the work of UKCDS, raising awareness amongst new audiences and seeking ways to promote development sciences in the UK.

Sarah works with the secretariat and members to ensure that we share knowledge and are an up to date source for development sciences news, funding calls, events and jobs.

About Sarah
Sarah has an MA in Rights and Development and a BA in English and History, both from Goldsmiths College, and conducted her MA dissertation on a participatory sanitation project in Ethiopia. She has worked as a writer, editor and events organiser for a number of development organisations in the UK and the Horn of Africa.
