Sustainable Agriculture Research for International Development (SARID) is a £7m collaborative research programme between BBSRC and DFID funding 12 projects to tackle some of the most damaging and widespread pests, diseases and harsh environmental conditions which can devastate crop yields across the developing world.

SARID was announced in 2006 and the first round of funding was launched in February 2008.
