DFID Research for Development Systematic ReviewsDFID have funded a number of systematic reviews to provide a summary of evidence on a particular topic. The reviews map out the available evidence, critically appraise it and synthesis the results.

However, recent Association of Commonwealth Universities research suggests that around 80% of some the top-ranking journals are actually available in the current collections of many African university libraries.
